Cart and checkout

The cart holds items selected by a visitor and checkout creates a real order for the website.

Basic flow

1. Visitor adds items.
2. Reviews quantity and total.
3. Enters customer data.
4. Applies a valid coupon if available.
5. Selects an enabled payment provider.
6. Backend creates a unique order reference.
7. Order status changes based on payment outcome.

Providers

Checkout can use MercadoPago, PayU, PayPal, Stripe or manual payment when configured by the website owner.

Stock

Linked inventory items can be reserved temporarily and confirmed/released according to the order result.

WhatsApp

A WhatsApp order/conversation is different from an electronically confirmed payment.
