Custom domains, Cloudflare and SSL

CreaRápido uses Cloudflare to serve custom domains and SSL while the customer keeps their DNS provider.

Connect an existing domain

  1. Open the website Domain module.
  2. Enter the domain without http:// or https://.
  3. Save.
  4. Add the DNS records shown in the panel at your DNS provider.
  5. Use Verify DNS until the status changes.

The current backend uses CNAME-based custom-hostname onboarding. Always use the target shown in the UI rather than a value copied from another account.

SSL

After DNS is detected, the status can move to SSL pending while the certificate is issued.

Buy a domain

The Domain module can search availability and price through Cloudflare Registrar. Purchasing from the panel requires a PRO website and uses the current displayed price.

SEO

A custom domain helps branding but does not guarantee search rankings.
